Witnessed Sampling

The German Gene Diagnostics Act postulates that each DNA sampling has to be witnessed by a neutral person.

Please make an appointment. We will carry through your sampling in our Laboratory near Munich (localise in Google maps).

Who does the witnessed sampling?

If you cannot find a sampler we offer you to do the witnessed sampling at our premises. Please add this article to your cart for each appointment you need. The number of persons attending the appointment is unlimited.

If you are not able to come to our lab for the sampling it can also be carried out by another neutral person. According to the law this person should be

• a physician (e. g. , your family doctor)
• an employee of the youth welfare office or the health office
• a pharmacist
• hospital staff
• a midwife

The documentation of the sampling is required by law . The aim is to protect the personal rights of every participant and to prevent secret DNA tests. We can therefore only process samples that are proven to have been taken with the knowledge of the person concerned. Your sampler can be a doctor, pharmacist or hospital staff. This person attests to your presence and the correct assignment of the samples with their signature on the documents.
